Adrienne Sayer

Adrienne is a consultant and part of the Global Forum on Bioethics in Research Secretariat. Initially trained as a biochemist, she spent several years working on the Human Genome Project. More recently she was the Research Ethics and Governance Manager at Wellcome where she supported the UK Biobank Ethics and Governance Council. Other Secretariat roles have included supporting the launch and development of Epidemic Ethics as a consultant in the WHO’s Health Ethics & Governance Unit and working on the inaugural Global Forum on Humanitarian Health Research, in collaboration with the Fogarty International Center (US NIH).
