Abdulmuminu Isah is a Senior Lecturer, researcher, and clinical pharmacist in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Management, University of Nigeria (UNN). He earned a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Benin, and both a Master of Pharmacy and PhD from the University of Nigeria.
Since joining UNN in 2016, he has co-authored over eighty peer-reviewed research articles in reputable journals as of September 2025 and has presented at major conferences, including the International AIDS Society Conferences (2021–2025) and INTEREST 2024–2025.
He actively reviews for several journals and is currently the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Nigerian Journal of Clinical Pharmacy and Therapeutics (2022–present) and Technical Editor of the African Journal of Pharmaceutical Research and Development (2024–present). In addition, he serves as Review Editor for the Journal of the International Association of Providers of AIDS Care and Frontiers in Pharmacology.
His research interests include Health Economics and Outcomes Research, with a focus on HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, and care, as well as pharmacy education. He leads the Person-Centred HIV Research Team (PeCHIVReT) and contributes as a Researcher with the Health Policy Research Group (HPRG), both at UNN.
Beyond academia, Dr. Isah is a Certified Supply Chain Analyst (ISCEA) with expertise in pharmaceutical supply chains. He is also an active member of the International AIDS Society, the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, the Nigeria Association of Pharmacists in Academia, and the Clinical Pharmacists Association of Nigeria.
