Oluchi Maduka

Oluchi Maduka is a law lecturer and researcher at the University of Ibadan's Faculty of Law, Nigeria. She specialises in medical law, research ethics, and intellectual property law, with a particular focus on the ethical, legal, and social implications (ELSI) of data science health research in Africa. From 2022 to 2024, she served as a postdoctoral researcher on the BridgELSI project under the DS-I Africa Consortium, contributing to collaborative, cross-disciplinary research on data science health research governance in Nigeria. She has co-authored works on research ethics and legal frameworks for data science and health research governance and looks forward to engaging in further collaborative initiatives that strengthen and advance research governance in Africa.
