Dr. Godwin Pancras is the head and lecturer of the Department of Bioethics and Health Professionalism at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) in Tanzania. He holds a PhD in Health Sciences (Bioethics) and a Masters of Bioethics from the same university. As an academician, his core responsibilities include teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students, doing research, and providing bioethics-related consultancy. His interests have been in international research ethics, clinical trial ethics, climate change, and environmental ethics. Currently, he is leading a WHO-funded project aiming to improve ethics regulatory training in climate change and health research in East Africa.
