Alejandra Sandoval, Veterinarian and University Teaching Specialist. Proffessor at the National University of Patagonia San Juan Bosco (UNPSJB), teaching Health Research and Bioethics in the Medicine´s Career and an elective course in Regional Zoonoses. Proffesor´s postgraduate course Introduction to Health Research Methodology, aimed at professionals working in the health sector. Member of the UNPSJB Research Ethics Committee and the Hospital Bioethics Committee of the southern health zone of Chubut. Member of the Steering Scientific Committee´s Argentinian Association of Hydatidosis. Member of the Steering Committee Chubut´s Veterinary Medical Association. She leads the Zoonoses Departament into the Health Chubut´s Secretary , working for several years on eco-epidemiological research on Hantavirus with health teams, working intersectorally with other researchers in the country. She leads research projects into strategic lines of territorial and collaborative research on vector-borne diseases related to arboviruses, such as equine encephalomyelitis and dengue fever. Moreover, conducting social researches on Chagas disease and hydatidosis, promoting qualitative research approaches to enrich knowledge management in public health programs on regional zoonoses, taking a One Health approach.
