Michael Parker

Michael Parker is Professor of Bioethics and Director of the Ethox Centre at the University of Oxford. His main research interests are in global health bioethics, ethics and genomics, and data ethics. In 2009, together with partners in Kenya, Malawi, South Africa, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Thailand he established the Global Health Bioethics Network. In 2020, together with partners at the Berman Institute at Johns Hopkins he established the Oxford-Johns Hopkins Global Infectious Disease Ethics Collaborative (GLIDE) which runs the annual Oxford Global Health and Bioethics Conference. Michael is a member of the Steering Group of GFBR.
