Chelsea Modlin
Chelsea Modlin, MD is an early-career faculty member at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and at the Johns Hopkins Berman Institute of Bioethics. Her research sits at the intersection of infectious diseases and bioethics with a particular focus on international research ethics and tradeoffs between clinical and public health ethics in domestic US health policy. Her primary research is on equity in HIV global health research collaborations. She is also involved in projects on (1) the ethics of antimicrobial resistance and stewardship and (2) the ethical and societal implications of HIV antiretroviral resistance testing for secondary use in public health surveillance and response.
